Let me start by saying Go Bulldogs!

I have been teaching at SMS for the past ten years.  I guess you could say that teaching here is both my dream job and a homecoming rolled into one.  I attended middle school at SMS back when the campus was on McCrary Rd. (the current site of the Boys and Girls Club).  I also went on to graduate from MGM, Skol Vikes!  I was "born and raised" in the Georgetown community.  I believe I relate well to my students because I understand where many of them come from.

I went to college originally on an athletic scholarship (baseball) attending Enterprise State Community College.  My academic pursuits eventually landed me at Spring Hill College where I obtained both my undergraduate degree as well as my Master's degree, Go Badgers!  I have been married to my beautiful wife Danielle, also a graduate of SHC, for 23 years.  We have two sons, Devin and Daniel.  Devin followed in his mother's and my footsteps as he also graduated from SHC this past May.  Daniel is currently starting his junior year at the University of South Alabama.

I believe that the Semmes community, and thus Semmes Middle School, is a great place to be.  I have called it home for the entirety of my life.  I am excited to begin my second decade here at Semmes and to have the opportunity to teach the next generation of Bulldogs that will continue to make this community special!
