Hello all, my name is Jordan Sweat. I was born in Mobile and have lived here for 27 years. I graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2016 with a double major in Social Studies and Secondary Education. This will be my third year teaching; all of which have been here at Semmes Middle. I have taught the Forensic Science/Criminal Justice elective in the past, and have also taught 7th grade social studies courses. In the Spring, I coach girls soccer for 7th and 8th grade students. I am also involved with the Horticulture Club that we have here at the school. I am looking forward to starting a new year, but unfortunately, I will not be meeting you in person. Lets hope sooner rather than later, things will become normal again. But in the mean time, we will get through this together! GO BULLDOGS!!
