🦃 The 2025 Goofy Gobble Games were an absolute HIT! 🦃 Semmes Middle School brought the energy, the laughter, and the competitive spirit today—and it did not disappoint! From the wild challenges to the unforgettable teamwork, our Bulldogs showed up ready for FUN! And the best part? 🏆 TEACHERS WIN! Our staff proved they’ve still got what it takes to claim the Gobble Games crown! Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered, and made this event such a memorable kickoff to Thanksgiving break. Semmes spirit is the BEST spirit! 💙🐾 Go Bulldogs!

Ms. Thompson’s 6th graders poured their hearts—and serious artistic talent—into creating Fall Coffee Sleeve Keepsakes for every teacher and staff member at Semmes Middle!
These amazing students combined three different art styles to design one-of-a-kind pieces that are as warm and unique as the season itself. 🎨✨ Each sleeve is a little work of art that our teachers will truly cherish with every sip!
A huge shoutout to Ms. Thompson and her creative crew for bringing joy, color, and big smiles to SMS!

Tomorrow is Alabama vs Auburn day at Semmes Middle School. Students that would like to participate must bring $2.00 to their homeroom teacher. Students that bring $2.00 may wear an Alabama Auburn T-shirt with appropriate jeans with no rips or holes, and NO FACE PAINT.

Tomorrow is the last day to purchase tickets for the Goofy Gobble Games! Bring $5.00 to lunch!

Alabama and Auburn Rival day at Semmes Middle! This Friday, students may bring $2.00 to their homeroom and participate in AL vs AU Rival day. They will get to wear jeans and an Alabama or Auburn spirit shirt!

Progress Reports were sent home today, 11/17/25. Please check your child backpack!

🦃 The Goofy Gobble Games is a staff vs student competition. We will be selling tickets for the Goofy Gobble Games this week ONLY during lunch waves (Tuesday-Thursday). Students MUST have their ID badge to purchase tickets as well as to enter the games. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door or the day of the games. No refunds.

Reminder that November 10th is a Distance Learning Day for MCPSS. Assignments will come home for your student to complete.
